Dr Jennifer Wood MBBS MMed

Dr Jennifer Wood completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery through the University of Western Australia in 2015. Since then she has continued to work for WA Health as a medical practitioner in a variety of specialties. She has since completed a Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) through the University of Queensland and is currently studying for a Master of Forensic Medicine through Monash University. As the current co-chair for the AMA WA Doctors in Training committee she also sits on AMA WA council and the Federal Council for Doctors in Training. Through these positions she hopes to continue to improve education, wellbeing, and workplaces for junior doctors both at a state and national level. As an active community member she fulfills a number of positions for organisations including Zonta Perth, Country Women’s Association and the Ceramic Arts Association of Western Australia.
