Mya left Burma in 1993 after working as a Head of Department at the Institute of Nursing Yangon.  Over the following four years she worked at Thailand’s Matridol University as a visiting professor in the Health and Social Sciences Department.

Residential Aged Care Manager Mirrabooka, Emer Lawson, RN
Emer commenced work with MYVISTA in October 2019 giving her time to develop a sound understanding of MYVISTA's values, principles and ethos before moving to Mirrabooka.  She used this time to prepare policies and procedures specifically for Mirrabooka and to put systems in place for this new facility.  Much of her time was spent interviewing and employing staff and ensuring that everything and everyone was in place for the smooth operation of the Mirrabooka residential aged care facility which opened in May 2020.
Emer comes with years of experience as an acute surgical nurse, and for the past 12 years has been working in the residential aged care sector.
